As spring brings warmer days, please remember that we do have a dress code and we expect all students to abide by it or be sent to the office to change before being allowed to return to class or school. The rule of thumb is that if it is something you would wear to the beach (really short shorts or skirts, skimpy tops that show bra straps or are really low cut should not be worn to school). Tank tops with at least a 1 inch strap are acceptable, camisole tops with spaghetti straps are not. Long shorts are acceptable, shorts and skirts that are more than 6-7 inches above your knee are not.

Students- following traffic safety laws is important when you are crossing the street to come to school. The Crossing Guard is the supervisor during this time and you must follow traffic law and her instructions to you. Your safety and that of parent and community drivers are at stake. We need your help to ensure one another’s safety as well. If you see someone crossing unsafely, please let the crossing guard or the front office know so we can help them understand the rules of safety. Not only do we want to ensure that all our students arrive safely to school, but please note that the police may give citations to people who cross illegally and don’t follow traffic laws, whether they are on a bike, skateboard, scooter, or even on foot.
