Seventh Graders Perform Midsummer Night’s Dream

Mr. Thomas’ classes rehearse a “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Thomas is one of the teachers whose two classes performed the play by Shakespeare. This play is a mix of fantasy, including mortals and furies. It’s about love, hope, determination, dreams, and ambition. Dream is a fast-moving comedy, and at the same time, gives the audience a positive message. It's poetry, and emotion.  Mr. Thomas said most kids probably enjoy it, those few who don't, don't want to do work.
"When kids come back from high school, the thing they remember most is the play," explained Mr. Thomas. The play was on March 31 and April 4th for upper 7th. Lower will perform their versions June 2 and 3.
