Rumors have been flying around about a slow moving reptile inside of MVMS . . .
Kathie Fischer, 7th Grade science teacher, has a large assortment of pets in her classroom (She thinks the students will enjoy them); zebra finches, turtles, a gecko named Echo, and even a snake. Early last year, there was an escape. Rosy the rosy boa escaped from his tank, right at the beginning of the year.
No one is quite sure where he is hiding. Ms. Fischer thinks he’s inside a cupboard or inside a wall. People have many different theories.
Plenty of people think that he died because he escaped last year. Someone thinks he’s in the principal’s desk. And one person thinks a large bird swooped down and carried him away. These are very crazy ideas.
Some students devoted several days of lunch recess to search. But wherever he is, some people are scared.
“When ever I walk past a wire, I freak out thinking that’s the snake” said Julie Leonard, the art and character education teacher. So, the big question is; where is the snake?
